In the city of illid

Once upon a time, and it was a time when there was no particular order to day and night, in a city called Illid, there lived a magician. No one knew the magician's name, but everyone called him differently.

When children met him they called him Hada. Hada meant one who makes u laugh. Hada also means friend. In the language of the Illids, of course.

The merchants Illid called him baswaz, which meant money; the vagabounds called him Walala, which meant shelter; young men called Baral, which meant Man and women called him drapalay, which meant the beautiful satisfier. And thus, the magician was known in Illid many years ago...
